Conveen Optima urisheaths can be applied and changed by the user himself or by a nurse or carer. As far as possible, the end user should be encouraged to do the changing himself.

Like anything new, using a urisheath for the first time or changing to a different type of urisheath can take a bit of getting used to. If you are worried about this, choose a few quiet days when you are close to home. Should you have any problems, you will have everything you need in hand. Check that you are following all the instructions correctly and don’t be afraid to try again – practice makes perfect.
