Format:The format of this workshop is a discussion amongst a panel comprised of healthcare professionals from ISCoS and ASCoS and a global representation of SCI consumers, the discussion will encourage audience participation.

In this workshop we will discuss how the potential collaboration between consumer organizations and between the organizations and SCI professionals could be usefully extended beyond the geographical boundaries of Europe.

Each panel member will make a brief presentation giving a short account of the situation in their own country/region/organization regarding any contact with consumer organizations. The next stages of the discussion will consider potential benefits of active and vocal consumer organizations with consideration for social and cultural differences.
