As of today, investors and others with an interest can read a full report on Coloplast's social, environmental and ethical performance. The report is the first of its kind in Coloplast’s history, though Coloplast has released green accounts since 1994.

"Social and environmental responsibility has always been a natural part of Coloplast's business, and it’s certainly an area where we have a lot to be proud of,” says Jeppe Kromann Haarsted, Corporate Responsibility Manager.

“Until now, however, we kept most results for ourselves, but in recent years we have seen a strong interest in corporate responsibility, especially from investors. Therefore, the report was a logic next step."

Coloplast’s corporate responsibility report has been written in accordance with the international standard GRI (Global Reporting Initiative). It covers the period from 19 November 2008 to 28 February 2010. Going forward,Coloplast will publish the report annually in November in connection with the financial statement.

In 2002, Coloplast signed the UN Global Compact declaration and has since then been a member of the Dow Jones sustainability index and the FTSE4Good index.
