The foam is soft against the skin adding little pressure to the sensitive area around the wound. It’s extremely flexible which makes it fit perfectly to your body. The foam effectively absorbs and retains wound exudate making sure the moisture balance in and around the wound is just right for healing.
Some of our Biatain dressings are prepared with active ingredients. We’ve added silver to our Biatain Ag dressings to combat infection, and our Biatain Ibu releases ibuprofen evenly into the wound, which may help to reduce pain during wear and dressing changes.
Biatain dressings are designed with soft, bevelled edges. This makes the dressing more comfortable and lowers the risk of leaving pressure marks on the skin.
