The programme had two parts: the morning session investigated and discussed diagnostic techniques and novel methods for the treatment of SCI in the specific areas of urinary tract function, bowel function, autonomic dysreflexia and paedatric spinal cord injuries.

The afternoon was a combination of presentations and discussions from a diverse panel providing academic, industrial, medical and consumer perspectives on measuring the outcome of spinal cord rehabilitation and on the general subject of achieving value based healthcare delivery in the management of SCI health.
