Coloplast is using the Showpad solution to share content with third parties. When making use of the Showpad platform to share content Coloplast is processing personal information about the recipients of the content. This information includes recipient contact details (name and e-mail address), content shared with recipient, date and time of sharing of content and recipient interactions with content (clicks on content, downloads, sharing and time spent reviewing content) (“Recipient Information”). Coloplast is processing the Recipient Information to pursue legitimate interests in enabling a secure and smart sharing of content, to offer a personalized interaction with the recipients, and to gain insights in how improve Coloplast’s content and interactions with the recipients. The legal basis for the processing is legitimate interest, cf. article 6(1)(f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable, and otherwise consent where required pursuant to local law.
Coloplast’s employees will process the Recipient Information exclusively for the specified purposes. Coloplast is using third-party platforms to host the data, and may involve third parties in the processing (e.g. consultancy firms to assist in analyzing the data). Such cases will imply a transfer of data to the third parties, but solely for the specified purposes and with the third parties acting on instruction from Coloplast. Data may be collected and processed across the Coloplast network, which may entail processing of personal data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, an adequate level of protection will be ensured by the third parties being subject to the standard contractual clauses on data protection adopted by the EU or to an EU-approved certification mechanism on data protection. The Recipient Information will automatically be deleted after 5 years of inactivity (where you have not interacted on the Showpad platform). You are may request the following at any time: a. Access to your data, b. Rectification or deletion of your data, c. Restrictions in respect of the processing of your data, d. To receive your data in machine-readable format (data portability), and e. Withdrawal of consents you have given Coloplast to process your data
