Gavin Wood joined Coloplast as President & CEO in 2026. He has extensive international leadership experience from the global medical technology industry and a strong track record of leading large, complex organisations and driving sustainable growth.
Prior to joining Coloplast, Gavin spent more than 20 years at Johnson & Johnson, most recently as Company Group Chairman of Johnson & Johnson MedTech EMEA. Earlier in his career, he served as Worldwide President of Ethicon Wound Closure & Healing and held senior commercial leadership roles at Mölnlycke. He has also served as Vice Chair of the MedTech Europe trade association.
Gavin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law from Carleton University and an MBA from Queen’s University.
