Transanal irrigation
To help make life easier for those with bowel issues, we offer transanal irrigation (TAI) systems, a minimally invasive method of achieving control over your bowel. This involves introducing body-temperature water through a rectal catheter to evacuate your bowel when and where you choose.

Low-volume TAI
Low-volume TAI systems often consist of a small water reservoir attached to a catheter. These irrigation systems usually clean out the rectum4, due to their low volume.

High-volume TAI
High-volume TAI delivers more water to the bowel, and can empty the rectum, sigmoid colon, and descending colon5. This provides more thorough irrigation and can enable some people to remain continent for up to two days at a time5.
